This magnificent painting has heartfelt meaning to the artist. This is a Traditional San Ildefonso Pueblo Deer Dancer. The artist danced this dance for the Pueblo's Feast for many years. It is a strong mans dance. The Pueblo's Feast is always held on January 23rd of each year. In the background is the Sacred Black Mesa and a yucca plant is also pictured. This painting represents strength, courage and endurance.
The Artist has been painting for over 40 years and is one of many talented Great Grandchildren of world famed potter Maria Martinez.
