A Traditional San Ildefonso Pueblo Eagle Dancer. The Eagle Dance is usually performed on or around New Years Day or upon request. It is usually danced with two Eagle Dancers. This dancer is surrounded by the Pueblo's unique Eagle Feather design which can be also found on San Ildefonso's famous black on black pottery. The Black Mesa in the background is a Sacred mountain of the Pueblo. The Eagle itself is revered by all Native American Tribes.
The Artist has been painting for over 40 years and is one of many talented Great Grandchildren of world famed potter Maria Martinez.
The overall dimensions range from 8 x 10 to 20 x 22 inches.
