This version titled Mythical Bird 5, Is one of six favorite Mythical Bird images. I was inspired by the Native Peoples of the Northwest Tribes, and thought of this great bird and added hints of the Northwest with very prominent Pueblo motifs. The bird is a combination of different squash blossom designs and is looked over by a cloud design with a lightning bolt emerging. This represents new life.
I have been painting for over 44 years and I am just one of many talented Great Grandchildren of world famed potter Maria Martinez.
The overall dimensions range from 8x10 inches to 16x20 inches.
